Our 6x12mm IP67 LED Neon Flex with 1cm cut points is built for narrow boards under 200mm, stair nosings, riser edges, and detail trim work where 5cm precision falls short. Cut at any 10mm mark, recess into the channel, power up — your light line matches the timber to the millimetre.
Continuous run of 15 metres from one feed, 30 metres with dual-end power. 24V DC, 120 LEDs per metre, IP67 silicone construction rated for permanent UK outdoor use across -30°C to 50°C. The 120° beam casts an even, dot-free wash with no visible LED hotspots — critical when the flex sits inches from foot traffic on a deck.
Where 1cm precision earns its place
Stair nosings and riser detail: deck stairs typically have 17-20cm rises and 25-30cm treads. The 1cm cut interval means you can match every nose, every riser, every tread edge without offcut waste. The 6x12mm profile sits flush in standard riser channels.
Narrow timber boards: hardwood decking boards in 90mm and 120mm widths leave no room for a 5cm cut error. Cut at 1cm intervals to fit board-by-board across mixed widths.
Tight perimeter detail: patio borders that turn corners every 1-2 metres, raised planter capstones, irregular bay windows, alcove trim — anywhere the run breaks frequently.
Garden steps and short paths: garden steps under 60cm wide, herb-bed borders, shallow water-feature surrounds. Most domestic step schemes need 10-15m total — exactly what this reel covers.
Install detail for a tight fit
Cut tolerance: the laser-etched 10mm marks define where the internal circuit can safely break. Cutting between marks shorts the segment and voids the IP67 seal. If you must cut between marks, our team will reseal end-caps before dispatch.
Driver sizing for a 15m run: 15m × 9W/m = 135W. With the 1.2 safety multiplier you need a 165W minimum — round up to a 200W 24V driver. Smaller and the driver overheats inside the first summer.
Bend radius — 1.5cm horizontal: tighter than that and the LED chips inside the silicone fracture. Vertical bending is not supported on this profile.
Profile recommendation: our slim 6x12mm aluminium decking channel sits flush with the board surface. The channel doubles as a heatsink — important on stair nosings where heat builds up against timber.
BS7671 compliance: low-voltage installation must use a properly isolated DC driver, not direct mains. Competent installer required for permanent installations.

2700K warm white — deep amber tone, used most often on timber decking where warmth complements the wood grain.
3000K warm white — soft warm white, the popular default for residential UK decking. Pairs with cedar, oak, and warm-toned composite boards.
4000K natural white — neutral, modern. Recommended for grey composite decking and contemporary garden builds.
6000K cool white — daylight crisp. Used for security-led step lighting and commercial premises where visibility trumps mood.

Decking LED Lights 24V — 5cm cut, 20m: longer single-feed run, slightly less cut precision. Choose this for typical decking projects over 15m.
Decking LED Lights 48V — 10cm cut, 40m: the long-run option. 48V halves voltage drop. Pick this for decking projects past 20m.

Free UK Delivery
We offer free standard UK delivery on over 95% of our products. Standard free-shipping parcels are sent via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked delivery.
Next Day Delivery
Next Day Delivery orders are sent via DPD, with full tracking details provided.
The exception — 1-metre rigid profiles
A small range of approximately 21 products — our 1-metre rigid aluminium and PVC profiles — carries a delivery charge. These items are too long for our standard free-shipping service: Royal Mail cannot accept a parcel longer than 45 cm, and a 1-metre profile far exceeds that limit.
Because of their length these profiles are shipped by DPD courier, not Evri. We moved this range to DPD after Evri’s parcel loss rate and damage rate on long items became unacceptably high — DPD gives these orders the protection and tracking they need to arrive intact.
For these 1-metre profiles, delivery is charged at checkout:
- £6.95 — 1 to 2 working days (DPD), on orders under £90
- FREE next-day delivery when your order total is £90 or more
- Timed and Saturday upgrades are available at checkout
All other orders continue to qualify for our standard free Royal Mail 48-hour delivery.
Order cut-off & delivery times
- Order cut-off is 1pm, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 1pm dispatch the same working day; after 1pm, the next working day.
- Next Day Delivery means the next working day — it excludes weekends, bank and public holidays. An order before 1pm Friday is delivered Monday; after 1pm Friday it dispatches Monday for Tuesday delivery.
- For a Saturday arrival, select “Saturday Delivery” at checkout — standard Next Day Delivery does not deliver on Saturdays.
- We cannot dispatch on bank holidays; orders go out on the next working day.

Return Policy
We offer a 15 day, no-quibble returns or replacement policy, because we want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. If you’re unhappy in any way with your purchase, you can return it for a refund or a replacement, as long as you return it in the same condition as it arrived (original/undamaged packaging and product) and within 15 days of receiving it.
We will pay for your return postage on a faulty item as long as you send it using Hermes or Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery and within 15 days of receiving it.
All products available in variable lengths are cut and customized from 30-metre or 50-metre rolls according to your specific requirements. Only a limited number of items are pre-made. Since our made-to-measure items, such as LED Strip Lights, Silicone Profiles, Bendable Profiles or Neon Flex Lights, are customized specifically for you, they cannot be cancelled or returned. Please ensure your order details are correct before placing it, as these items are considered special orders and are non-refundable once processed. However, if you purchase a full 50-metre roll, you may return it for a full refund, provided it is unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Certain items are excluded from our returns and refund policy, including goods that are made to measure, cut, or mixed according to your requirements. Orders with different cutting lengths, or any order over £50 in value, are classified as custom and therefore do not qualify for a refund or return if there is no fault with the product. These orders require significant time and effort to prepare. All the unused accessories such as power supplies, power adapters, controllers, drivers and profiles are returnable.
Any type of modification to the lights will invalidate the warranty. Once the lights have been modified no replacement or refunds will be issued, specially the AC 220V 240V led strip and neon flex lights which come with an attached UK Plug (Hardwiring 220V 240V lights will void the warranty).
If you want to hardwire the lights then please check the DC 12V, 24V and 48V which are designed to be hardwired using a power supply. If the item becomes faulty within the warranty period (12 Months) then we will issue you a replacement. Please note that we will only be able to send you a replacement, no refunds will be issued. We are not responsible for any fitting and fixture costs.
