Where the 5cm and 10cm formats handle long perimeter runs, the 1cm cut format handles the fine work — driveway corner returns, planter detail lines, walkway markers, garden feature accents. Cut at any 10mm mark, fit around the architecture, light it.
15m of single-feed continuous run on 24V DC. 6x12mm IP67 silicone built for unprotected outdoor exposure. 120 LEDs per metre, 690 lumens per metre, CRI above 80. Same construction quality as the longer MaxiFlex formats — the difference is cut interval, optimised for installs where every centimetre lands somewhere specific.
Where 1cm cut MaxiFlex specifies in
Driveway returns and entrance markers: driveway edges typically curve at the entrance and meet pillar bases or gate posts. Cut at 1cm to follow each curve cleanly without forcing the silicone past its bend radius.
Garden feature lighting: raised planter walls under 1.5m, water feature surrounds, sculpture plinths, retaining wall capstones with frequent corners. The fine cut interval keeps every section purposeful.
Pathway accent strips: garden paths between 5m and 12m where the line passes through arches, around bay windows, beside steps. The 15m reel covers the typical residential pathway in one piece.
Architectural detail outdoor: soffit lines that change direction every 1-2m, fascia under garden rooms, exterior trim on outbuildings — anywhere the line is short and frequently broken.
MaxiFlex vs the Decking range — what's different
MaxiFlex and the Decking line share the same 6x12mm IP67 build and 24V electrical spec. The difference sits in positioning and the recommended use case. MaxiFlex is specified for driveways, landscape borders, commercial outdoor, and architectural detail — uses where the flex is visible against open hardscaping. The Decking line is specified for recessed installs into timber and composite boards. Both work in either context — the naming reflects how installers most often pick them.
Driver and install detail
Driver sizing: 15m × 9W = 135W. Use a 165W minimum (× 1.2 safety) — 200W 24V driver for headroom. Smaller drivers run hot and shorten LED life.
Cut precision: 10mm cut marks define safe break points. Cut at the mark only — between marks shorts the segment. We can pre-cut and reseal end-caps before dispatch.
Bend radius: 1.5cm horizontal minimum. Tighter and the LED chips fracture inside the silicone. Vertical bending is not supported on this profile — the flex is horizontal-bend only.
Profile compatibility: our 6x12mm aluminium landscape profiles work for outdoor use — they protect the silicone from UV and mechanical impact, dissipate heat, and create a clean recessed finish flush with the hardscape.
Compliance: install per BS7671 by a qualified electrician. Use an isolated low-voltage DC driver — never bypass to mains.

Free UK Delivery
We offer free standard UK delivery on over 95% of our products. Standard free-shipping parcels are sent via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked delivery.
Next Day Delivery
Next Day Delivery orders are sent via DPD, with full tracking details provided.
The exception — 1-metre rigid profiles
A small range of approximately 21 products — our 1-metre rigid aluminium and PVC profiles — carries a delivery charge. These items are too long for our standard free-shipping service: Royal Mail cannot accept a parcel longer than 45 cm, and a 1-metre profile far exceeds that limit.
Because of their length these profiles are shipped by DPD courier, not Evri. We moved this range to DPD after Evri’s parcel loss rate and damage rate on long items became unacceptably high — DPD gives these orders the protection and tracking they need to arrive intact.
For these 1-metre profiles, delivery is charged at checkout:
- £6.95 — 1 to 2 working days (DPD), on orders under £90
- FREE next-day delivery when your order total is £90 or more
- Timed and Saturday upgrades are available at checkout
All other orders continue to qualify for our standard free Royal Mail 48-hour delivery.
Order cut-off & delivery times
- Order cut-off is 1pm, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 1pm dispatch the same working day; after 1pm, the next working day.
- Next Day Delivery means the next working day — it excludes weekends, bank and public holidays. An order before 1pm Friday is delivered Monday; after 1pm Friday it dispatches Monday for Tuesday delivery.
- For a Saturday arrival, select “Saturday Delivery” at checkout — standard Next Day Delivery does not deliver on Saturdays.
- We cannot dispatch on bank holidays; orders go out on the next working day.

Return Policy
We offer a 15 day, no-quibble returns or replacement policy, because we want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase. If you’re unhappy in any way with your purchase, you can return it for a refund or a replacement, as long as you return it in the same condition as it arrived (original/undamaged packaging and product) and within 15 days of receiving it.
We will pay for your return postage on a faulty item as long as you send it using Hermes or Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery and within 15 days of receiving it.
All products available in variable lengths are cut and customized from 30-metre or 50-metre rolls according to your specific requirements. Only a limited number of items are pre-made. Since our made-to-measure items, such as LED Strip Lights, Silicone Profiles, Bendable Profiles or Neon Flex Lights, are customized specifically for you, they cannot be cancelled or returned. Please ensure your order details are correct before placing it, as these items are considered special orders and are non-refundable once processed. However, if you purchase a full 50-metre roll, you may return it for a full refund, provided it is unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Certain items are excluded from our returns and refund policy, including goods that are made to measure, cut, or mixed according to your requirements. Orders with different cutting lengths, or any order over £50 in value, are classified as custom and therefore do not qualify for a refund or return if there is no fault with the product. These orders require significant time and effort to prepare. All the unused accessories such as power supplies, power adapters, controllers, drivers and profiles are returnable.
Any type of modification to the lights will invalidate the warranty. Once the lights have been modified no replacement or refunds will be issued, specially the AC 220V 240V led strip and neon flex lights which come with an attached UK Plug (Hardwiring 220V 240V lights will void the warranty).
If you want to hardwire the lights then please check the DC 12V, 24V and 48V which are designed to be hardwired using a power supply. If the item becomes faulty within the warranty period (12 Months) then we will issue you a replacement. Please note that we will only be able to send you a replacement, no refunds will be issued. We are not responsible for any fitting and fixture costs.
