WHY NOT WORKING? It's very important to know the difference of the 2 modes AP Mode & STA Mode.
- AP(Access Point) mode: controller and phone connect directly ,controller working as an access point.
Connect steps:1. When the device is not connected to any WIFI network, power on the controller and wait for 20s
and the controller will switch into AP mode;
2.In the WIFI setting page, find and connect the controller(named like SP108E_xxx,the default pin code is12345678);
3. Open the LED Shop App, then the controller will be shown on the device list.
- STA(Station)mode: Controller and phone are in one same WIFI network,in this network. users can operate the controller smoothly
Connect steps:
1. When the device is not connected to any WIFI network, power on the controller, the controller will remain in Wait-For-Connect mode for 20 seconds;
2. Make sure that your phone is connected to the WIFI network, Open LED Shop APP, press the Add Device button, input the WIFI pin code, then press the OK to confirm and wait for the configure processing finish;
3. When the controller successfully enter the WIFI network, it will be shown on the device list;
4. User can select the controller and remove it from the network by pressing the Remove Device button, then the controller will switch into AP mode.

Returns & Refunds
The 30-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
ATOM LED offers product-specific warranties: up to 7 years on single-colour COB strip, 5 years on RGB and RGBW COB strip, and 4 years on LED neon flex. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Call 01952 370028 for warranty claims.
