The brief

A hexagonal sunken seating well in a private outdoor patio, with marble step risers descending into the central area and an integrated fire-pit at the centre. The owner wanted a soft warm-white perimeter wash recessed directly into the marble itself — not visible as a fitting, just visible as light.

The solution — 6×12mm in the marble channel

We specified our 6×12mm Mini Neon Flex in 3000K Warm White at 24V. The decisive specs:

6mm body width — fits the marble channel directly, no aluminium profile in the way.
1cm cut interval — every length cut to the precise dimension of its marble section. No dark corners.
3000K warm white outdoor — designed to glow off the marble without reading as a stripe of LEDs.

The result

The hex perimeter glows from the marble outward. From the patio above, the seating well reads as a halo cut into the stone — soft enough to gather around, defined enough to navigate the steps after dark.
