How to plan kitchen cabinet lighting
Measure each illuminated run and cable route, choose the required white tone or accent colour, calculate the connected load, then select a compatible 24V constant-voltage power supply and correctly sized 10mm aluminium profile. Order a complete metre length or use our Made to Measure service.
Under-cabinet lighting questions
What colour temperature works under kitchen cabinets? 2700K and 3000K look warm, 4000K appears balanced and neutral, while 5000K and 6500K look progressively cooler.
Can under cupboard lights be cut to size? Yes, but only according to each product’s verified cut construction and maximum run.
Do LED cabinet lights need an aluminium profile? A correctly sized profile supports a straight finish, protects the strip and supports heat management.
Are these suitable near a sink? No. The products in this collection are IP20 strips for dry indoor areas, away from sinks, splashes, steam and condensation.

Great customer service
I placed a decent order with Atom, which was needed urgently within the next couple of days. Unfortunately the courier messed up and I din't receive my order when I needed it. Atom did everything they could to rectify this issue and managed to pull it out the bag for me. I will be using Atom again on another project we are working on. Great customer sevice.

Neon flex channel
I used the channel on my recent project , I was told I needed the 10mm x 10mm for the flex I bought . But as I had to use 2 separate cut lengths of flex, it meant having a separate feed cable which I needed to hide , so I bought the 10mm x 18mm , his the cable behind the flex and then pushed the flex in flush to channel . Worked perfectly. However. The 10mm x 10mm is not quite deep enough once you put screws in it . It pushes flex out a bit . And also comes with no holes . So DIY is not straight forward , but having said that im pleased with the whole outcome , ATOM lighting is pretty good at making things brighter , sorry about that
New garden LED strip edge lighting
Easy to install, maybe a bit more on the tails would be good.
Neon flex
Looks great used as an edge lighting both sides of gravel pathway and an uplight to new wall for split level patio and garden. Really good effect at night.

I have to say . The experts at ATOM , were extremely helpful regarding info about products , once track was up the strip sat in nice and neat . I had to cut it as was a tad long but I did it with a sharp knife no problem. I did however purchase a transformer from elsewhere and saved quite a bit , overall really pleased with the product, Brian
