Commercial hospitality - Manchester - Case studyRGB COB bar lighting, Manchester
A Manchester bar installation using custom lengths of 10mm RGB COB LED Strip 24V IP20 across the bar frontage. The full run is connected to one Miboxer HW5 RGB WiFi controller with remote and powered by a 24V 350W supply for simple colour control across the whole feature.
The brief
The customer wanted a strong colour-changing feature for a Manchester bar, using clean RGB lines across the bar frontage rather than visible individual LED points. The installation needed to be simple to control, consistent across the full run and bright enough to stand out in a low-light hospitality setting.
The solution - custom 24V RGB COB lengths
The bar uses custom lengths of 10mm RGB COB LED Strip 24V IP20, connected back to one Miboxer HW5 RGB WiFi controller with remote. A 24V 350W power supply provides the headroom for the connected strip lengths.
The result
The finished bar has a vivid, continuous RGB glow across the frontage, with the COB strip producing a smooth line of light rather than dotted reflections. One HW5 controller keeps the colour scenes and remote control straightforward for staff.
