How does a tunable white COB strip work?
Two LED channels — one warm, one cool — sit under a single phosphor layer. A CCT controller varies the balance between them to move through the white range. The strip carries three wires for this: a shared positive and one negative per channel, marked C− and W−.
Do you need a controller?
Yes. A plain dimmer changes brightness only. Tuning the colour needs a constant-voltage driver for power plus a two-channel CCT controller to mix the channels. Size the driver on metres × wattage, then add 25%.
How is CCT different from RGBW?
CCT tunes clean whites end to end. RGBW adds colour, but its white is a blend of diodes rather than a dedicated white phosphor, so CCT reads truer for kitchens, bedrooms, hospitality and retail display.

I placed a decent order with Atom, which was needed urgently within the next couple of days. Unfortunately the courier messed up and I din't receive my order when I needed it. Neon flex channel
I used the channel on my recent project , I was told I needed the 10mm x 10mm for the flex I bought . But as I had to use 2 separate cut lengths of flex, it meant having a separate feed cable which I needed to hide , so I bought the 10mm x 18mm , his the cable behind the flex and then pushed the flex in flush to channel . Worked perfectly. However. The 10mm x 10mm is not quite deep enough once you put screws in it . It pushes flex out a bit . And also comes with no holes . So DIY is not straight forward , but having said that im pleased with the whole outcome , ATOM lighting is pretty good at making things brighter , sorry about that
