A domestic patio installation in Shrewsbury using 31.7 metres of IP67 8x16mm warm white 3000K neon flex at 48V with 10cm cut points. The run is controlled through a Miboxer HW2 controller with remote and WiFi control, powered by a 48V 350W constant-voltage supply.
The brief
The customer wanted a clean warm-white line around a domestic patio in Shrewsbury, bright enough to define the edge of the outdoor space but still soft enough for evening use. The installation needed to sit outdoors, follow the patio perimeter neatly and be simple to control from a remote or phone.
The solution - 48V IP67 neon flex
The project used 31.7 metres of 8x16mm warm white 3000K 48V IP67 neon flex with 10cm cut points, installed around the patio perimeter. A Miboxer HW2 controller gives the customer remote and WiFi control, while a 48V 350W IP67 power supply provides the output needed for the full run.
The result
The finished patio has a precise warm perimeter glow that frames the outdoor space and reflects cleanly across the tiled surface. The 48V run keeps the light consistent around the longer perimeter, while WiFi and remote control make the installation easy for daily use.
