2-metre profiles are a long, rigid, oversized parcel and travel on a dedicated long-goods service. If your basket contains a 2-metre profile alongside 1-metre profiles, LED neon flex or any other product, the £19.85 charge applies to the whole order however much you spend. Next-day and timed services are not available on 2-metre profiles. Need a shorter length? Our 1-metre profiles ship at £6.95, free over £90.
A black anodised recessed channel for LED strip, 25mm wide and only 7mm deep, with flat side flanges that sit on the surface and hide the routed edge. The strip drops out of sight and you see a clean line of light instead of the tape.
Supplied in 2 metre lengths with an opal cover, in a matt black finish that disappears against dark joinery, painted MDF and smoked oak.
- Overall size: 25mm wide x 7mm high, with a 17mm body that drops into the groove.
- Fits strip up to: 12mm wide.
- Groove required: 17mm wide x 7mm deep.
- Finish: matt black anodised aluminium with an opal push-in cover.
- Length: 2 metre. Also available in 1 metre and in silver.
The aluminium carries heat away from the strip, which is what keeps output and colour stable over the life of the run. Fitting strip inside a profile rather than sticking it to bare timber or plasterboard is the single biggest thing you can do for how long it lasts.
Rating: the channel itself is IP20. Pair it with an IP67 or IP68 strip and the assembly is sealed in its own right, so bathroom zones are fine.
Cut to length with a fine-tooth blade or a mitre saw. Deburr the cut end before the cover goes back in.

Returns & Refunds
The 30-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
ATOM LED offers product-specific warranties: up to 7 years on single-colour COB strip, 5 years on RGB and RGBW COB strip, and 4 years on LED neon flex. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Call 01952 370028 for warranty claims.
