Description
This 12V RGB LED strip brings adjustable colour to separate indoor features with coordinated colour control. Choose a fixed colour for everyday ambience or change the mood through a compatible controller. RGB creates white by mixing its colour channels; choose a strip with a dedicated white channel if white lighting is your priority.
What is included?
This listing supplies two 5m RGB strips, power adapter, WiFi controller and IR remote. Check the supplied components before fitting and plan their accessible mounting positions.
Which controller and power supply?
The WiFi controller handles colour and brightness. Use a 12V DC power supply and follow the controller pairing instructions. Check its app and network requirements before installation; voice control also depends on compatible smart-home equipment.
Will the LEDs show?
SMD LEDs can appear as separate points, especially at close range or in reflections. For a softer appearance, consider a compatible silicone diffuser that fits the complete strip. Test the pairing: diffuser depth, LED spacing and viewing distance affect the result.
Where can it be used?
IP20 is for dry interiors. Keep the strip away from splashes, condensation and exposed outdoor locations. Position the controller, power supply and connections in suitable protected locations; their protection must be checked separately.
How should I cut and fit it?
Isolate power before cutting or connecting. Cut only at the marked positions. Measure first, support the strip without sharp folds and test it before final fixing. The 10m kit contains two 5m strips; plan their connections as separate runs. Check the Specifications section for the remaining product details before choosing accessories. Ask ATOM LED to check your planned layout if you need help matching components. Allow access to the controller and connections for future maintenance. Measure the complete route before ordering. Position power equipment where heat can dissipate.

Returns & Refunds
The 30-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
ATOM LED offers product-specific warranties: 7 years on single-colour COB strip, 5 years on RGB and RGBW COB strip, and 4 years on LED neon flex. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Call 01952 370028 for warranty claims.
