Description
Create a smooth, continuous line of colour across long indoor or outdoor installations with ATOM LED RGB Neon Flex. Its rounded dome diffuser and closely spaced SMD5050 LEDs produce an even, dot-free appearance that works well for architectural outlines, façades, hospitality spaces, feature lighting and large decorative projects.
The 48V design supports a continuous run of up to 30 metres from one power feed, helping reduce voltage drop and the number of feed points required on larger installations. This is analogue RGB Neon Flex: the connected section changes colour together when paired with a compatible RGB controller. It is not individually addressable or digital pixel strip.
The flexible PVC body bends horizontally for curves and flowing shapes. Cut only at the marked 16.67cm intervals, allow for the cutting increment when planning the finished length, and avoid twisting the body or forcing it across the unsupported bending direction. Use compatible mounting clips or aluminium profile for a neat, secure installation.
IP68 protection makes the product suitable for exposed locations when every cut end, cable entry and connection is correctly terminated and sealed with the matching accessories. The strip must be powered by a suitable 48V DC constant-voltage power supply and a 48V-compatible RGB controller. Never connect the Neon Flex directly to mains electricity.
Choose a supplied length from 1 to 30 metres, or use our Made to Measure service for a project-specific assembly. Power supplies, controllers, connection leads, end caps and mounting accessories are available separately. Returns & Refunds
The 30-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
ATOM LED offers product-specific warranties: 7 years on single-colour COB strip, 5 years on RGB and RGBW COB strip, and 4 years on LED neon flex. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Call 01952 370028 for warranty claims.
