Cool White 6000K Double-Sided Neon Flex | 8x16mm | 220–240V AC | 120 LEDs/m
This Cool White 6000K Double-Sided LED Neon Flex lights from two faces, so the run reads clearly from both viewing directions. It suits free-standing and suspended signs, shopfront lettering seen front and back, and balustrades lit on both sides. The 6000K cool white tone gives a crisp, dot-free glow with 120 LEDs per metre, drawing 9W per metre because it emits from two sides rather than one.
The 8x16mm body bends horizontally and cuts every 1 metre. It uses an SMD 2835 chip with CRI above 80 and an average LED life of 30,000 hours. We cut it to length from a 50-metre roll to match your run. Each metre carries a 1-year warranty.
This neon flex runs on 220–240V AC mains and ships with a UK plug, rectifier cable, and end cap. The plug is not waterproof, so house it in a dry, sealed enclosure outdoors. Rated IP65, it handles indoor use and sheltered outdoor spots where only light splashes or moisture reach it, such as covered patios or sheltered facades. Do not use it near swimming pools, saunas, bathrooms, or underwater — those need IP67 or IP68. For outdoor runs, apply heatshrink tubing and silicone sealant at the end cap and plug connection to block water ingress.
In the package: 1 x LED Neon Flex, 1 x UK plug with rectifier cable, 1 x End cap, 1 x Pack of Clips (1 clip per metre).
Important Installation Notice: This product is not suitable for recessed installs in the ground or any surface exposed to direct water or heavy weather. For those jobs, choose IP67 or IP68-rated neon flex, which is built for outdoor recessed use and offers higher water protection. Hardwiring a 220–240V mains light is not supported and voids the warranty — it must run from the supplied plug. If you need a hardwired install, choose one of our DC voltage neon flex ranges (12V, 24V, or 48V), which are designed for that purpose. Any modification or improper use also voids the warranty. Returns & Refunds
The 30-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
