Description
Our IP67 Waterproof LED neon flex measures just 8x16mm and can be cut every 10cm (100mm). It can do a 40 metre continuous run from one-side power, with no visible voltage drop.
Built for permanent outdoor use, the full silicone construction handles UV, rain, and temperatures from -30°C to 50°C. It emits a smooth, dot-free cool white 6000K light — ideal for gardens, pathways, facades, signage, and architectural features. Designed to withstand British weather conditions year-round, including heavy rain, frost, and prolonged damp.
Every order is custom cut to your exact length requirements — no off-the-shelf sizes, no waste. Just tell us the length you need and we will cut it ready for installation.
IP67 is splash and rain resistant but should not be submerged underwater. If you cut the neon flex yourself, we cannot guarantee the IP67 rating unless resealed by ATOM LED.
Need a finer cut interval? Our 24V 8x16mm neon flex (5cm cut) does 20m continuous run with one side power. Our 24V 8x16mm neon flex (1cm cut) does 15m continuous run with one side power — ideal for tighter bends and shorter runs.
For a professional installation, we suggest using our 8x16mm aluminium profiles designed for IP67 neon flex — they provide protection, heat dissipation, and a clean finish.
Comes with a 4 year guarantee. Should be installed by a competent person in accordance with BS7671.

Returns & Refunds
The 15-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
ATOM LED offers product-specific warranties: up to 7 years on single-colour COB strip, 5 years on RGB and RGBW COB strip, and 4 years on LED neon flex. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Call 01952 370028 for warranty claims.
