Precise lengths, smooth daylight white light
This daylight 5000k Free Cut COB LED strip gives shelves, cabinetry and architectural details a continuous line of light. Its cut-anywhere construction helps you finish neatly at the end of a shelf or recess, without working around a fixed cutting interval.
The clean white appearance of 5000K suits display shelving, utility areas and indoor task lighting where a fresh, crisp finish is wanted. The slim 8mm strip fits compact installations; check the internal clearance of your chosen mounting profile and connectors before fitting.
Plan the power and installation
Use a suitable 24V DC constant-voltage power supply. For dimming, choose a compatible single-colour controller. Allow for the total connected load and the ratings of every cable, connector and controller. The maximum continuous run is 10 metres powered from one end; longer purchased lengths or a full roll need a suitable feed arrangement.
IP20 construction is intended for dry indoor locations. Mount on a clean, dry surface with appropriate heat management, and test the strip before final fixing. Isolate the supply before cutting or making connections. The strip is supplied separately from the power supply, controller and installation accessories.

Returns & Refunds
The 30-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
ATOM LED offers product-specific warranties: 7 years on single-colour COB strip, 5 years on RGB and RGBW COB strip, and 4 years on LED neon flex. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Call 01952 370028 for warranty claims.
