Natural White 4000K Neon Flex – 8x16mm | 220V–240V | 120 LEDs/m
The Natural White 4000K 8×16mm LED neon flex delivers a smooth, continuous line of light for kitchens, workspaces and displays. Its diffused face spreads the output of 120 LEDs per metre across a 120° beam.
The 8x16mm Neon Flex is horizontally bendable and can be cut every 1 metre, making it highly adaptable for creative projects. It's constructed from durable materials that are impact-resistant and built to last, with an estimated lifespan of 30,000 hours. The design is more energy-efficient than traditional glass neon, using up to 80–90% less power. The lights are cut from a 50-metre roll and custom-prepared to match your specific requirements.
Each strip comes with a 1-year warranty for indoor and outdoor applications when properly sealed and installed. The controller is not Waterproof and must be housed in a dry, Waterproof enclosure when used outdoors.
Rated IP65, this neon flex is suitable for indoor use and light outdoor environments where only mild water splashes or moisture may be present (e.g. covered patios or sheltered façades). It is not intended for extreme weather conditions or high-exposure areas. Do not use near swimming pools, saunas, bathrooms, or underwater. For outdoor use, ensure heatshrink tubing and silicone sealant are applied thoroughly at the end cap and front connection to prevent water ingress.

Important Installation Notice:
This product is not suitable for recessed outdoor installations on the ground or any surface exposed to direct water or heavy weather. For such applications, we recommend using IP67 or IP68-rated neon flex, which is specifically designed for outdoor recessed use and offers higher protection against water and environmental conditions.
Please note that any modification or improper use of this product will void the warranty. In particular, hardwiring this light is not supported and will invalidate the warranty. It must be connected using the provided plug. If you require a hardwired installation, please choose one of our DC voltage neon flex lights (12V or 24V or 48V), which are designed for that purpose.

We use DPD, Royal Mail and DX for delivery. Orders to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland containing a rigid profile 2m or longer cost £39.85 per order via DX, including mixed baskets and orders over £90. Other destinations and services are priced at checkout.
Returns & Refunds
The 30-day return window applies to non-customised stock items returned in their original, unopened, uncut condition with original packaging. Eligible items include:
- Standard LED strip lights supplied as 5-metre rolls
- Straight aluminium profiles
- Power supplies and drivers
- Accessories (connectors, controllers, dimmers, end caps)
Custom-cut and bespoke orders (made-to-measure strip, custom-spec drivers, custom-length profiles, special-order items) are non-returnable unless faulty.
Faulty products qualify for free returns — we cover the return postage and either replace the item or refund the full cost including original delivery.
Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

Reviews
Lights are well insulated for outdoor use and very bright. Remote is good, however it only works if you have direct view of the outlet where LED is plugged to. If you have under the counter lights you will not be able to use the control to dim the lights or change settings. I added the Kasa outdoor Wifi smart plug adaptor to access the control of lights

The lighting product was as expected and specified. The fixing brackets though allow too much lag between spacing which needed extra support to create a good line effect. Consider the ‘ trunking ‘ support if you want perfectly straight lines from the lighting strip ( it is quite expensive but does the job properly if you want sharp lines)

The natural white neon flex 220v 8x16mm can be cut every 1 metre. Sorry for confusion we will rectify it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between IP65, IP67, and IP68?
IP65 handles surface splashes only and is not suitable for UK outdoor conditions or bathroom wet zones under BS7671. IP67 is rated for temporary immersion and covers outdoor garden installations, most bathroom zones, and exposed architectural features. IP68 handles continuous submersion for ponds, fountains, and fully exposed outdoor applications. For most UK garden and decking projects, IP67 is the correct choice.
Can I cut this product to a custom length?
Yes. ATOM LED products can be cut at the marked cut points without voiding the warranty. Many competitors restrict cuts to 50–100mm intervals, which wastes offcuts on tight custom runs. Use sharp scissors or a craft knife for a clean cut, then seal the end with a suitable end cap.
What size driver do I need?
Multiply the total metres by the wattage per metre, then add 20% headroom. For example: 10 metres of 24V neon flex at 9W/m = 90W total, so you need a minimum 108W driver. Never load a driver above 80% capacity for long-term reliability.
Should I choose 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Choose 12V for caravans, cars, boats, and any project powered by a 12V battery. Choose 24V for most home and trade installs where you need dependable run length with lower voltage drop. Choose 48V for longer architectural runs where extra distance and single-feed flexibility matter. For underwater or submerged installs, use IP68 Waterproof lights and the correct driver for that product; do not use 48V underwater.
What is your warranty?
ATOM LED offers product-specific warranties: 7 years on single-colour COB strip, 5 years on RGB and RGBW COB strip, and 4 years on LED neon flex. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. Call 01952 370028 for warranty claims.
